On Wednesday, the 2nd, an inspection of the solar panels by South Sound Fire was scheduled. Normally, the inspector would climb a ladder to the roof to inspect the installation of our new panels. However, our representative from MAD Energy NW suggested the inspector view the panels from below—by way of his drone. Within minutes he had clearance with SeaTac Airport to fly his drone above the roof. The inspector, after watching the images on the operator’s screen, readily signed off on our inspection.
Our representative will be sharing the video with Midway Covenant so that we all can have a most thorough view of the panels—without climbing up to the roof.
