- We spent time praying for the Church, the staff and each other.
- While grateful income exceeded expenses, we noted that giving was down. We will look back to analyze monthly income patterns for the last few years.
- With profound gratitude and praise to God, we extend a call to Marco Bracamontes as our new Youth Director for 13 hours per week.
- We approved a rent reduction for CanZion in exchange for scholarships for youth from our contacts.
- We support and are grateful for Reddics Johnson’s effort to create community gardens on the North Lot and for offering breakfast to the community as able.
- We decided to start a Thursday evening prayer gathering for Midway Covenant patterned after the Lent Suppers with a half hour of fellowship around a meal followed by a half hour of prayer.
- We rejoiced in received a $10,000 grant for advertising on Google.
- We had come prepared to share what the Spirit had been saying to us regarding “big vision” topics and spent time sharing our initial thoughts. We will continue to pay attention to all “incidences” connected to a potential Food Bank on the North Lot and a parsonage on the east edge.
