JOINT SERVICE ON SUNDAY, JULY 25!

Our next joint service is…tomorrow! Note that the service start time is 11 a.m. We are excited about gathering together with sister churches Ministerio, Bridge of Grace, Spirit and Truth Worship, and City of Rain. What a joy it will be to come together and worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth! Psalm 34:3 “O magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.” The sermon will be based on Matthew 17:1-13, which focuses on Jesus’ tranfiguration on the mountain. Communion will be served during the service.

BBQ FOLLOWING SERVICE!

Please plan to stay for a pull-out-all-the-stops BBQ following the service! The meat and BBQ are being provided by Spirit and Truth Worship.  Side dishes and desserts are being provided by each church. Thanks to those of you who volunteered, our side dishes and desserts are covered. Note: We are still in need of beverages! If any of you would like to bring a case of water, juice, or soda pop to the Kitchen before church on Sunday, that will be much appreciated!

DIGGING DEEPER

Fill in the blanks using the words in the box below.

Last Sunday, Pastor Shaunpreached on 1 Peter chapter 2. We are reminded again why it is so important to have a reverent fear of God. We live in a tremendous universe, all of it created by God’s mighty hand. He is Almighty God, the Creator of all existence!  His greatness only illuminates how small and _________ we are! How can we not be in awe of Him when we realize the ______ of His love, even while we were still sinners! To think that God could have snuffed out mankind for their rebellion towards Him, but chose not to, is mind-boggling. Instead, He ____ His only Son, who _________ and died, shedding His own blood for the very ones who crucified him. What love! He gives everyone the chance to be reconciled to God. When we, as citizens of heaven, respond to those around ___ with the forgiveness and love that Christ has shown us, it gets their attention! May we remember to live as citizens of the Kingdom of _________, where our true identity lies.
