Give Blood

Dear Midway Covenant Congregation-

The Puget Sound Blood Center will be holding a blood drive on Monday down the street at Grace Lutheran Church on the corner of Kent Des Moines Rd and 24th.

With summer, come vacations. Vacations mean fewer blood donors. Additionally, high schools are out over summer and high school donors make up 20% of our community donor base!

Summer does not mean less need for blood. As a matter of fact, with people being more active,  demand for blood goes up in the summer.  This means there are fewer donors available at a time of the year when the need increases.

The need for blood can strike anyone, at any age, at any time.

With the need high, and the donor pool low, please help keep our blood supply strong for our area by donating blood next week.

Your gift helps real people right here, right now. You may not ever get to meet the individual you save, but know that they are forever grateful for your generosity. I hope you can show up and offer your support!
